Welcome To Our School
It gives me great pleasure on behalf of all the staff, children, parents and governors to warmly welcome you to our wonderful school.
Beech Hill School is a vibrant and welcoming school. We are committed to providing the best learning experiences possible with the children placed at the centre of everything we do.
At Beech Hill we believe that every child matters. There is a driving determination to ensure that pupils and adults in the school reach their full potential. Our ethos is a simple one: ‘Learning without Limits.’ We pride ourselves on having the highest expectations of all our children and believe that there are no limits on what they can achieve. At the heart of the school is our commitment to work in partnership with parents, carers and the local community to raise aspirations for all and to provide a high quality education for every child.
We strive to provide a curriculum that engages and inspires our children, providing them with rich and memorable experiences alongside lifelong knowledge and skills. We provide wider opportunities for children to develop as independent, confident, successful learners with high aspirations who know how to make a positive contribution to their community and the wider society. There is a high focus on developing children’s moral, spiritual, social and cultural understanding as well as basic skills.
Our extensive grounds and forest school provide a wealth of opportunities for children to discover, explore and extend their natural talents. Here children learn first-hand about the riches of the natural environment whilst developing important life skills such as team work, problem solving and resilience.
Children have just one childhood; our intention is to provide them with inspirational and unforgettable learning experiences to prepare them for the next stage of their lives by the time they leave us.
You can find all the latest information by exploring our website and contact our school office or email [email protected] for any further information you may need. We look forward to welcoming you and your children to our school.

A big shout out to Elaine, Gill, Janice, James for sorting our London train journeys so we all sat in one carriage after the failings of Customer Services @GC_Rail who made us book in small groups for our school party of 72 so we were integrated with the public! #grandcentralrail
Y5 have had a BRILLIANT day in London - the children have been excellent ambassadors for Beech Hill and the Family of Learning Trust. They really enjoyed the London Eye River Cruise, a matinee performance of Wicked and tea at Pizza Express!

They have been working on coherence today and planned some lessons with their groups!
Our Y6 orchestra did a fantastic job performing at a special music assembly at Ravenscliffe School today - our audience were brilliant and made us feel very welcome. The first piece was performed behind a screen in the same way that Vivaldi’s music was originally performed.
