Action Research

At Beech Hill school we believe that learning has no limits and are constantly striving to find new ways to develop as practitioners. This year we are undertaking small scale action research projects that we have designed ourselves with the support of Dr Jo Pearson from Teamworks Teaching School. We have thought carefully about areas of learning that our children find difficult and looked at current educational research on how best to improve them. Our teachers are working in cross phase teams on their projects and you will find regular updates on how it is progressing on this page.

Our Research Teams:

Miss Buckley, Miss Whitton, Miss Wilcock, Mr Crawshaw, Mrs Bowling and Mrs Borges Vaz

Miss Jordan, Miss Blanchard, Mr Gregory, Miss Taylor, Mr Hoyle and Miss Grba

Mrs Cockroft, Miss Gray, Miss Whiteley, Miss Brambani and Mr Sharp

Miss Vickerstaffe, Mrs King, Miss Holmes and Miss Fitzpatrick
